What you don't see — but what changes everything.
The difference between a good VTC and a great private chauffeur service comes down to the invisible details: maintenance, vehicle selection, driver training, internal protocols. Here are our standards.
Vehicles replaced every 3 years maximum
No vehicle in our fleet is more than 36 months old. The Mercedes-Benz manufacturer service is carried out every 15,000 km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Tyres replaced at 3 mm tread wear. Enhanced technical inspection twice a year, well beyond the legal requirement.
Full cleaning between every ride
Every vehicle is fully cleaned between two rides: interior vacuumed, surfaces disinfected, seats straightened, water bottles replaced, USB chargers checked. Exterior wash after night shifts and full interior cleaning at the end of every week. A clean vehicle isn't an extra at Dahab — it's the baseline standard.
Drivers trained, vetted, insured
Our drivers hold the professional VTC card issued by the French prefecture, have a clean criminal record and more than 5 years of passenger transport experience. They follow an internal training programme covering discretion, smooth driving, handling unexpected events (flight delays, last-minute changes) and luxury service codes.
Professional passenger transport insurance
All our vehicles are covered by professional passenger transport insurance (unlimited third-party liability, full accident coverage, driver and passenger protection). We can provide the certificate on request for business travellers and corporate mobility managers.
